Police Scotland Lochgilphead: police reports for week to 1st June 2015

Theft

At 3.50pm on 25 May, police received a report regarding a theft of a bottle of vodka from the Coop, Bishopton Road, Lochgilphead. An 18yr old male was later arrested and detained in custody pending his court appearance.

Between 8pm on 28 May and 2pm on 29 May a quantity of logs were stolen from Minard Castle, Minard. Police are asking if anyone has any information to contact PC Brindle at Lochgilphead on telephone 101.

Vandalism

Between 6pm on 23 May and 2pm on 24 May a Skoda motor vehicle had its paintwork damaged while parked in Hillview Terrace, Ardrishaig. Police are asking if anyone has any information to contact PC Joanne Graham at Lochgilphead on telephone 101.

Breach of Bail

On 27 May a 69 yr old male was arrested for breaching his Bail conditions at Crinan. He was detained in custody pending his court appearance.

Drugs

At 12.35am on 28 May, Police had occasion to stop a vehicle in Poltalloch Street, Lochgilphead. The 25yr old male driver was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of cannabis resin. He is now subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.

Drink Driving

At 1.15am on 29 May, Police had occasion to stop a vehicle in Harbour Street, Tarbert. The 26yr old male driver was arrested and later found to be driving a motor vehicle while over the prescribed limit and is now the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
